Howdy Friends! Happy June and summertime stylin'!
I am in full swing writing new songs, playing shows, and keeping myself inspired, with a recent trip to the Sphere, and my 16th Telluride Bluegrass! What a treat.
On June 10th, I played a duo show for ACES (Aspen Center for Enviornmental Studies) with my friend Rob Leisure, bass player extraordinaire. Rob helped me work out some songs that I rarely play with anyone else, and he sounded great! We debuted a new song called “Fog and Time” that I have been working on for a few weeks and hope to get out to the world before long.
** Im excited to announce the 2nd ever date of “Gentryfied”, an all- electric quartet, featuring Duane Moore on drums, Rob Leisure on bass, Harris Jackson on lead guitar, and myself, on mandolin, guitar, and vocals. This will be in Snowmass Base Village on August 27th from 5-8pm and will be a twist on the usual acoustic music I write!
BUT Next up, Ill be playing a duo show w/ Curtis (from Elk Range) on 6.27 at the Stranahan's Whiskey Lodge downtown Aspen from 3-6pm.
Ill follow that up Friday with a special Hugh Phillips Band show at the beautiful Radio Room in Grand Junction, CO. Please go to ColoradoCountry.com for more info on that.
Feel free to scroll down and see where I'll be next and come say HIGH!
Please keep in mind that I am adding new shows all the time, and that I am available for solo, duo, trio shows as well as booking for Elk Range, The Hugh Phillips Band, Modern Form Folk/Jazz, Gentryfied (full electric) and more.
New tracks, free downloads, and new music forthcoming. Hang tight!
